Hanuman Jayanti Celebration + Bhoj

On the auspicious day of Hanuman Jayanti, you are invited to come visit the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple at Mount Madonna to offer prayers to Hanuman, who represents strength, power, loyalty and great knowledge, and who serves as the protector and the one who is victorious over all evils. At Mount Madonna, this annual event celebrates the birthdays of both Hanuman and Baba Hari Dass.

“Arrive between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. to participate in the parade, or between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00am to attend the Pujas and Yajna. This will be a well attended event; participants are requested to arrive on time, carpool if possible, and remain quietly seated during the rituals, from 8am until noon. Enjoy a bhoj (feast) at the conclusion of the event.

Cost: FREE of charge.

6:30 am | Gather at the Temple
6:45 am | Hanuman parade – all around MMC
8:00 am | Ganesh Puja and Sundar Kand- Temple
10:30 am | Hanuman Puja and Yajna and Arati – Temple
12:00 pm to 1:30 pm | Bhoj – Community Building

1:00 – 7:00 pm | Temple Darshan (lower numbers between 1 and 2)
